Though I found this information also on other websites, I learned from bitter experience that I cannot fully trust hardly anything I read on the Internet anymore. I confirmed it myself using Google Earth. You can see for yourself. Is this a coincidence? Interestingly, a nautical mile is based on the size of the earth. It is one minute or one-sixtieth (1/60) of one degree of latitude".
